Dali, a male nurse, faces a crucial professional assessment, while Norah, a determined student, prepares for an important exam. Their paths intersect in the waiting room of the foreign office in Berlin as they pursue their individual “European Dreams,” where equality of opportunity is believed to be for everyone. Amidst the bureaucratic hurdles, they discover that Mohamed Ali El Hammi, founder of the first Tunisian labor union, lived in Berlin during the tumultuous twenties.
